Larry Yee appointed to Acupuncture Board

The appointment of San Francisco acupuncturist Larry Yee to the California Acupuncture Board was announced by Assembly Speaker pro Tempore Leland Yee. Larry Yee was born and raised in San Francisco's Chinatown. He graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in accounting. He has been an SBC service technician for 25 years and is active in the community as president of the Chinese American Democratic Club, an adviser to Yee Fung Toy Family Association and past PTA president at Sherman Elementary School.

The Acupuncture Board is comprised of four public members, five acupuncturists and one medical doctor. (Source: AsianWeek, Dec. 24, 2004).
