Yin Li won the Siemens grand award


Siemens Foundation announced December 8 the national individual and team winners of the 2003 Siemens Westinghouse Competition in Math, Science & Technology. Three of the finest young scientists and mathematicians in America - all of them are still in their teens - were honored at an awards ceremony at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in Washington, D.C. Yin Li, a senior at Stuyvesant High School, New York, NY, is the individual winner to receive a $100,000 scholarship for his project,"Characterizing the Properties of a Translational Regulator Expressed in Mouse Brain."
